And so Tommy started sending notes that I would translate into French and post on his website.  It didn’t take very long before I started getting e-mails from his English speking fans wanting to know what he was writing about.  At first, I would send the original text in an e-mail but then I started getting so many e-mails that I decided to make this section bilingual as well.  It was the most popular part of the site.  Tommy did send a lot of them until 2010, when Facebook and Twitter took over.  He also sent some conversations they were having on the bus called “Unterviews” with Larry Gowan, Todd Sucherman and Glen Burtnik which brought a lot of hits on the web site.  They were hilarious!  And so I put them back up for you to enjoy.  You can find the notes archives here.  Happy reading!

Alors Tommy a commencé à envoyer des messages que je traduisais en français et publais dans son site.  En peu de temps, ses fans anglophones m’envoyaient des courriels pour savoir ce qu’il disait.  En premier, je répondais à chacun des courriels et envoyait le texte original de Tommy mais un moment donné, j’en recevais tellement que j’ai décidé de faire cette section bilingue.  Tommy envoyait régulièrement des notes pour afficher dans son site jusqu’à 2010, alors Facebook et Twitter ont pris le dessus.  Tommy a envoyé des discussions qu’il avait avec Larry Gowan, Todd Sucherman et Glen Burtnik appelées “Unterviews”.  C’était vraiment drôle et chaque fois, le site recevait un paquet de visites.  Alors voilà, vous pouvez revoir toutes les notes et les conversations dans l’autobus en suivant ce lien.  Bonne lecture !
